Sure, you could buy the L.A. Clippers ... but wait!

by Andy Harris

By now you've heard that the NBA has banned Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling for life and fined him over $2 Million for making racist remarks. The league also wants him to sell his team.

According to Forbes Magazine, the Clippers are worth $575 Million, but could sell for $750 Million possibly more!

If you have that kind of money, maybe YOU could be the next owner. Or, maybe you'd like to shop around for other possibilities. Here are a few:

--Be one of two chosen astronauts aboard a lunar mission being planned by the company, 'Golden Spike Bigelow Aerospace and Space Adventures' . For your money, youll get 2 moonwalks, a stay on the moon for 36 hours, and enough cargo room to bring back 110 pounds of moon rocks. Price: $750.2 Million.

--Possess your very own U.S. Embassy! Check out the one in Baghdad on the banks of the Tigris River . It's got an indoor pool (six lanes!), a fitness center, a regulation sized basketball court, a huge dining room and more! Price: $750 Million. (It's not necessarily for sale, but make an offer! Who knows, right?)

--You could build your own MLB stadium. Price to build based on the Miami Marlins' Park in 2012: $634 Million.

--Pick up a set of his and hers Boeing 787 jets. Price for two: $578 Million.

--Or, maybe you want to tighten you belt a bit and buy something way more modest. How about a new Lamborghini Veneno ? It will get you from 0 to 60 mph in 2.8 seconds with a top speed of 221 mph. The only problem is they make just 3 of these per year and there's a waiting list. Price: just $4.5 Million.
