Second Annual Childrens Theatre Festival
Saturday 10am @ Harrisburg Performing Arts Center
The festival will feature Discovery Mime Theatre and Storyland Childrens Theatre. It will involve the audience in stories, music characterizations and more. This 75-minute show will feature audience participation, familiar childrens songs, and stories that kids of all ages will enjoy and learn from. In addition, a meet and greet with the casts will follow the event.

Christmas with the Animals
Saturday 1pm to 4pm @ Great Plains Zoo
Just like humans, animals like presents and treats to add some excitement to their daily lives. During Christmas with the Animals, zookeepers and volunteers decorate donated Christmas trees with edible treats for the animals to enjoy. Zoo-goers watch the animals unwrap presents filled with fruits and vegetables, munch on garlands made of Cheerios, and nibble on the Christmas trees

Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (SD Symphony Orchestra)

The South Dakota Symphony Orchestra brings the cinema to life with the Crouching Tiger Concerto. Based on the Oscar-winning score from Ang Lee's film Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Tan Dun's work brings the drama to the stage with Hai-Ye Ni, principal cellist of The Philadelphia Orchestra, performing the lead role.
