Boston's Tom Scholz - no surprise - seems to have shunned current digital technology in order to make the new Boston album sound like... well Boston. He says on the band's website, "These are songs from the heart, each of them taking many months of effort to write, arrange, perform and record, always up to the demands of Boston’s harshest critic. Me. The songs have been meticulously recorded to analog tape on the same machines and equipment used for Boston’s hits for the past 35 years. I intentionally stayed close the early Boston style on some songs, even using the same amps and instruments."
The new album, "Life, Love, and Hope" comes out December 3rd.
