Former Genesis member told Billboard
a band reunion of the legendary band is “possible but improbable.” Saying “I’m
always up for it – I’ve always said that publicly. I think it would be
wonderful, extraordinary, but you’ve got to get everyone to say yes…or
at least two guys to say ‘yes’ and hope that everyone else will follow.”
Honestly, I think getting Phil Collins to come out of retirement would be tough, while getting Mike Rutherford and Tony Banks might be a little easier. But if you REALLY want the fan base to get excited, get Phil Collins AND Peter Gabriel to do a tour.
Yeah, I know that's preposterous, wishful thinking, but those guys share such a rich and storied past together, plus, they're getting to the age where the window for such a tour is closing quickly. It would be the tour of the year if it happened.
