David Crosby is releasing a new album of material. The new album is called "Croz." Although it's exciting that Crosby would turn out some new songs, I find it sad that he did not record them with Still, and Nash. Crosby told Rolling Stone, “I wanted to challenge myself. Most guys my age would have done a covers record or duets on old material. This won’t be a huge hit. It’ll probably sell nineteen copies. I don’t think kids are gonna dig it, but I’m not making it for them. I’m making it for me. I have this stuff that I need to get off my chest.”
Does this signal the end of recordings for Crosby Stills and Nash? I certainly hope not. But you never know how much paperwork and the red tape of recording new material under the CSN moniker would require. They are still performing together, and Crosby and Nash have been close friends forever, so let's just hope that Crosby's album is full of material that will not make the next CSN recording.
