Pink Floyd\Roger Waters fans rejoice! In a recent interview, Roger Waters revealed that he is making a new record. Rogers, who recently said that he regrets suing his former Pink Floyd band mates year ago, announced in an interview with BBC World News, that he is “going to make another record. I’ve had a very, very strong idea, and I shall pursue it, and I will make at least one more record.”
Nobody can take a single strong idea and turn it into an amazing album of music like Roger Waters. I always thought that there were times when Waters' passion, vision, and overall feel for an album was so strong, contributions from David Gilmour felt more like distractions than part of the album. Which is to take nothing away from Gilmour's song writing or guitar playing. For instance: On "Not Now John" from The Final Cut, David's lead vocal just felt like he was adding a great piece to the wrong puzzle.
