There has been a Steve Perry sighting, and it's in a studio! The band AWOLNATION is working on new material, and, according to singer Aaron Bruno, he's been hanging out with Journey's former singer. He told Rolling Stone magazine they became friends because Perry liked their music, and reached out to him. He also says it feels kind of like he's bragging because Perry likes his music.
So this is a good sign. Like I said about Christine McVie and Fleetwood Mac, musical burnout can only last so long....All you have to do is get the music bug started some way again, however small. Hopefully this will get Perry back to recording his own stuff, and dare I say? Something with Journey?
