There's a new nail polish I wanted to tell you about. No, it's not OPI, Butter London, Deborah Lippmann or Essie. It's called Undercover Colors - and it has the capability to detect date rape drugs - such as Rohypnol, Xanax and GHB. What's more impressive is that four male college students from North Carolina State University.

Here's how it works... the technology in this polish is able to detect a handful of date rape drugs when the wearer stirs their drink with their finger. The goal is very well stated in their tagline: "The First Fashion Company Empowering Women to Prevent Sexual Assualt."

The students say they need more funding before it can be released. I have a feeling they won't have a problem coming up with the funds they need based on the amount of press they are generating.

I thought this was extremely worth of sharing - and I hope you will pass it onto to young women you care about.

xoxoxo,
