Michael Buble has a pretty great life: he's married to a beautiful, successful woman and the couple is expecting their first child. He's a global, multi-platinum-selling superstar and he's well-liked by nearly everyone. But there is one aspect of his life that he doesn't like: the fact that he's famous. In fact, according to Michael, "Fame sucks."
Speaking to Britain's Daily Express , Michael says the thing that millions of people strive for isn't all it's cracked up to be. "Fame sucks. There is nothing good about it. Honestly," he says. Why? Because, he says, he feels like he's always under a microscope.
"[I miss] anonymity," he explains. "Not being able to make mistakes. Someone is always waiting for you to f**k up.”
But just because being famous isn't enjoyable doesn't mean that Michael is going to stop doing the thing that makes him famous: he enjoys it too much. Speaking about his new album To Be Loved, Michael tells the paper, "I had a great time making it...I would die if it was six months of recording without fun."
And that's not all: Michael says he wants to get involved in something that will make him even more famous: acting.
“The only reason I haven’t done it is because of the time constraints," he says. "I think in the next couple of years, I will take time off and start making movies.”
Michael has actually had small roles in several films, including Duets , Totally Blonde and The Snow Walker , but none of them exactly set the box office on fire. He was also an extra in two episodes of The X Files back in 1996.
