SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - The Shrine Hospital for Children will be in Sioux Falls Saturday to screen children for orthopedic conditions.
Sioux Falls Shriner Rob Joyce says the screenings are for children up to age 18 suffering from muscle, bone or joint related problems.
Joyce says children are eligible for care at the Shriners Hospital in the Twin Cities if there's a reasonable possibility they can benefit from specialized services. He says the Shriners help children who have these kinds of problems regardless of their ability to pay. So, the Shrine Hospital can assist those children and their families and give them better lives.
Joyce says the free screening is from 8 am to 1 pm Saturday at Core Orthopedics, Avera Medical Group on East 26th Street.
Walk-ins are welcome.
