Bruce Springsteen 's new album, High Hopes , was apparently accidentally released early by Amazon on Saturday -- some two weeks before its scheduled January 14 release date.
According to Billboard , the New Jersey rocker's 18th studio album was available for purchase on Saturday as individual tracks in MP3 format. However, Amazon eventually removed that option, presumably after realizing it made an error. But it appears that the damage is done -- the album can already be found on file-sharing websites.
Rage Against the Machine and Audioslave guitarist Tom Morello is featured on eight tracks on the new album, including his vocals on a new version of "The Ghost of Tom Joad." Deceased E Street Band sax player Clarence Clemons and late organ and keyboards player Danny Federici also make appearances on High Hopes .
