SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Sioux Falls Police took fifty vehicle accident reports between 5:30 yesterday afternoon and 10 this morning. Officer Sam Clemens says one of the accidents involved an injury but it didn't appear to be serious. Clemens says most of the accidents were caused by motorists overdriving the winter road conditions. Officers always caution drivers to take extra time and slow down especially when they're not used to driving on snow covered roads. People are driving as though the roads are dry. Clemens says snowpacked roads also demand more distance between cars in case you have to break suddenly.
