Sioux Falls, S.D. (KELO-AM) - Fareway Food Stores has announced its first store in Sioux Falls.  The new store will be located at 1431 West 41^st Street, next to Hobby Lobby.

A public statement from Fareway says, "We intend to begin work immediately to transform the approximately 34,400 square feet facility into a Fareway grocery store that its customers have come to expect.  We continue to look for additional opportunities in the greater Sioux Falls area and are optimistic we will have more announcements in the future."

Fareway says the new store is expected to open within the next few months.
