SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Sioux Falls police say a person of interest in a homicide investigation in Chamberlain was at the center of a standoff last night with the SWAT team.
Officer Jim Larson says 36-year-old Kent Davidson of Mitchell was found at a friend's apartment on West 16th Street and authorities considered him armed and dangerous. Larson says SWAT was called out and Davidson surrendered peacefully to authorities around 10:15 Thursday night.
Larson says the South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigation is handling the case.
Attorney General Marty Jackley today identified the victim of a homicide in Brule County as 26-year-old Crystal Ann Schulz of Mitchell. Jackley says Schulz's body was discovered Thursday morning in a shed in rural Chamberlain.
