Carnie Wilson is dealing with another health concern. The Wilson Phillips singer, who underwent lap-band surgery in January 2012, has told her fans that she has been diagnosed with Bell's palsy, a form of facial paralysis.
The 44-year-old mother of two tweeted on Monday, "Just wanted you all 2 know that I have Bell's Palsy on lf side of face right now. Scary, unfortunate, but it goes away. A challenge! Love u."
The condition is usually temporary. A Wilson rep tells E! the singer is healing well and her recovery is going smoothly.
In a further tweet , Wilson writes, "Ps Who believes in Acupuncture? I'm treating my Bell's Palsy with it. IT'S WORKING."
The “Hold On” singer’s battle with her weight forced her to have gastric bypass surgery 13 years ago. She's married to music producer Rob Bonfiglio .
