Randy Jackson is going out with a bang tonight on American Idol.   The judge, who's spent the past 12 seasons constantly mentioning his work with Mariah Carey , will join her onstage to play bass during tonight's big blowout finale.

According to the Hollywood Reporter , viewers will see Mariah perform a medley of her hits on tonight's show, though it won't be live: it was taped Wednesday night.   Backed by a gospel choir as well as Randy, the diva will perform "Vision of Love," "Make It Happen," "We Belong Together," "My All," "Hero" and her new hit, "#Beautiful."

Judge Keith Urban will also take the stage tonight, and according to the Hollywood Reporter , former contestant Adam Lambert will duet with Angie Miller .   In addition, Janelle Arthur will sing with The Band Perry , and pop legend Frankie Valli will perform with the top ten guys.  Other duets are still being worked out.
