VERMILLION, S.D. (KWSN)– Senior middle blocker Natalie Walseth was named The Summit League Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week after tallying 21 kills on 31 attempts and recording an attack percentage of .583 over South Dakota’s two matches last weekend. It’s the first time she has earned that honor.
Walseth had 14 kills and no errors on 20 attacks against North Dakota State on Sunday and finished the match with an attack percentage of .700. That’s the highest percentage from a USD volleyball player with at least 20 attempts in a match since 1999. On Friday, she had seven kills and an attack percentage of .364 against South Dakota State.
Walseth also added eight blocks, three digs and an assist over the weekend.
