Some of pop music's most amazing voices will be singing carols around New York City's famed Christmas tree in Rockefeller Center this year. Mariah Carey , Mary J. Blige , Toni Braxton and Kelly Clarkson are just some of the stars on the bill for NBC's annual special , Christmas in Rockefeller Center, airing December 4.
In addition to those big names, the lineup of stars who'll be warbling holiday favorites in front of a 76-foot tall Norway spruce decorated with more than 45,000 lights also includes the Goo Goo Dolls, Jewel, Babyface and Ariana Grande . Today anchors Matt Lauer , Al Roker , Natalie Morales and Savannah Guthrie will host the festivities.
This year's special marks the 81st year that the tree has been illuminated in Rockefeller Center. It was first televised in 1951.
