VERMILLION, S.D. (KWSN)– South Dakota junior outside hitter Kendall Kritenbrink was named the Summit League Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season in a league release on Monday. It’s the sixth time she’s earned the honor in her career.
Kritenbrink recorded 26 kills in USD’s 3-1 win over NDSU and 21 kills and 12 digs in the 3-1 win over SDSU. Over the weekend she averaged 5.88 kills per set and had a .410 hitting percentage. She’s averaged 5.31 kills per set in USD’s four league games this season.
South Dakota will take on Denver in the DakotaDome on Friday at 5 p.m. Both teams enter the match 4-0 in league play.
