Some big names in the entertainment world apparently will be featured in the upcoming video for Paul McCartney 's "Queenie Eye," one of the songs on the rock legend's latest album, NEW . U.K. newspaper The Mirror reports that the clip will reunite one of the 1990s most talked-about couples, actor Johnny Depp and supermodel Kate Moss , who dated from 1994 to 1998.
"There were a whole host of celebrities taking part," a source tells The Mirror , who reveals that Meryl Streep and Take That singer Gary Barlow also participated in the shoot. "It was a really mixed bunch. But the big talking point was Kate and Johnny."
The source reports that Depp and Moss "only have little roles" in the video, while noting that the clip will mark the first time that the two stars will be featured on screen together since they broke up.
"They really try to avoid one another in public because there have been raw emotions in the past," the source explains, but neither could say no to Macca."
McCartney, meanwhile, tells The Mirror that the reason the former lovebirds consented to appear in the video was that they're friends of his and his daughter, Stella . He added, "I am very lucky they agreed to do it."
