It's a case of "he said/she said" -- Mick Jagger has now strongly denied Katy Perry 's claim that he hit on her when she was 18 years old.
As previously reported, Katy spoke to Australia's NovaFM about the fact that before she became famous, she sang backup on Jagger's song "Old Habits Die Hard." She then casually mentioned that she had dinner once with him, when she was around 18, and that he hit on her. She added, though, that "since then, he's been very kind," and mentioned that the two had duetted on stage during the Stones' tour earlier this year.
Now, Jagger's rep says in a statement, "Mick Jagger categorically denies that he has ever made a pass at Katy Perry...Perhaps she is confusing him with someone else.’’
