Taylor Swift's RED tour wrapped up in Nashville over the weekend, and during that time, Taylor took some time out to meet with a young girl who was badly injured at one of the singer's concerts this past summer.
According to People magazine, 7-year-old Grace Markel was walking into Taylor's show in Chicago on August 10 when she was hit by a speeding SUV driven by an uninsured driver with a suspended license. Poor Grace she suffered skull fractures, lacerations, a severe concussion and road rash on her face and body, and had to spend the next two days at a local hospital.
But Grace's spirits were lifted on Saturday when she got to meet Taylor backstage at her Nashville show. Grace's mom tells People, "Taylor greeted Grace by her name and immediately knelt down and hugged her. She told Grace she had a cold and asked Grace to sing extra loud to help her out." She also autographed Grace's concert tee shirt and posed for photos.
The thrilled little girl said that Taylor was "even more "nice and tall and pretty" than she thought she'd be.
