It's been delayed a number of times, but now, Tony Bennett says his duets album with Lady Gaga will definitely be released in September. In fact, Bennett tells Showbiz411.com that the album, Cheek to Cheek , will be released before the Grammy Awards eligibility deadline of September 30.
The disc, which features him and Gaga teaming up on jazz standards, was supposed to come out in January; then it was moved to March. The delays, according to Showbiz411.com , had to do with the desire to have the album released well after Gaga's latest album, ARTPOP , and after her tour, which starts next month, is complete. This way, she'll be free to make TV appearances alongside Bennett to promote the album.
"Wait 'til you hear her voice," the legendary crooner told the website, talking about Gaga. "She's a real singer."
