(WNFL)- Wily Peralta will try to become the Majors' first 15-game winner tonight, when the Milwaukee Brewers play the Cubs in Chicago. The young right-hander has won his last five starts, with a stingy ERA of 1.64 during that stretch. Peralta has not lost since July 8th. He struck out a career-high nine batters last Thursday in six-and-two-thirds innings against San Francisco. The Brewers have scored at least three runs in each of Peralta's last 12 starts. He's 14-6 with a 3.42 ERA for the season. The Cubs will send right-hander Kyle Hendricks to the mound. He's 3-1 with a 2.01 ERA in five appearances. Hendricks has won his last two starts. He has gone at least six innings in all five of his starts this year, and he went a career-high eight frames while giving up two runs in a win over Colorado last week. Milwaukee has a two-game lead over second-place Pittsburgh in the National League Central Division. The Cubs are last, 15 games out.
