While she's performed all over the world in the last year, Lorde has never done a headlining tour of her own country -- but that's about to change.
The singer has announced she'll do her first-ever headlining tour in New Zealand in late October and early November. So far, four all-ages shows have been announced in New Zealand's four major cities.
In a statement, Lorde says, "I've been itching to do a New Zealand tour...Kiwi audiences are the best, and I'm so happy to be playing the final shows for Pure Heroine here. It's only right I come full circle, back to where it all started".
Meanwhile, Lorde will kick off a new U.S. round of dates September 5. She wrote on Twitter that fans can expect some odd things happening behind her on the video screens she has onstage.
"Shooting visuals for the US tour today," she tweeted . "holy s**t i am pumped for these shows. (featuring bathtubs, bull terriers & other dream situations)."
