Sioux Falls, SD (KELO-AM) The west side Walmart in Sioux Falls on Thursday donated $1,500 to the South Dakota March of Dimes to honor its' former director Carol Flynn for a random act of kindness.
Flynn paid for diapers in line last month for a woman ahead of her who didn't have the money. Someone took a video and put it on facebook.
Store manager Ted Walnofer says they wanted to surprise and honor Flynn so asked her to come to the store without really telling her why. The store then presented the big check to Flynn and representatives from the March of Dimes, as store employee looked on.
Walnofer says what Flynn did in line that day happens more than you might suspect. He says it challenges all of us to perform more random acts of kindness.
