OneRepublic will be the headline act for this year's Tiger Jam , an annual charity event in Las Vegas staged by pro golfer Tiger Woods to benefit his own Tiger Woods Foundation.
Ryan Tedder and the guys will perform at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino on May 17, the second night of the two-day event, which runs May 16-17. In addition to the concert, participants will also enjoy a high-stakes poker night with poker legends, as well as a morning golf outing, live and silent auctions of luxury items, and a post-concert party at the House of Blues. Proceeds from the gala event will go to the Foundation's college access programs.
In a statement, Tiger said, "We are excited to welcome OneRepublic to Tiger Jam for the first time in our 16 years. This unique and entertaining event gives so much to my foundation, helping us grow our programs and providing even more young people with a shot at college."
Tickets for the OneRepublic show go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. Las Vegas time via Ticketmaster.com or MandalayBay.com.
The band is also playing another charity gig, this one at London's Royal Albert Hall on March 27. As previously reported, the show will raise money for the charity Teenage Cancer Trust , which takes care of the special needs of teenage and young adult cancer patients by providing hospital units designed with them in mind.
