SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — A semi fire on I-29 has closed the Tea exit.
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office posted on Facebook Wednesday morning to let the public know the northbound lane on I-29 at mile marker 73 which is the Tea exit is closed due to a semi being on fire.
The Sheriff is asking the public to take an alternate route.
No injuries have been reported.
The Department of Transportation will need to inspect the bridge prior to its re-opening.
The accident has created a slippery mess due to the semi carrying chicken meat.
There has been a secondary crash reported by deputies on the scene of the original accident due to vehicles driving around patrol cars!
The Sheriff is reminding the public NOT TO DO THIS!
