Bad hair happens. What makes bad hair look really bad… is dry hair. I am a product junkie. Finding a product that put moisture back into my hair was a real challenge. (I am a HUGE fan of masks… but, we'll talk about that another time).
The hair oil I can't quit talking about (and now, writing about) is from Oribe. ORIBE Gold Lust Nourishing Hair Oil. And, because I made a complete fool of myself not knowing how to pronounce it… let me help you save face. ORIBE. Pronounced Oar-BAY. Knowing how to pronounce this line will make you sound and seem super sophisticated
What sets this oil apart from all of the others I have tried… is I feel it actually sinks into the cuticle. It's not greasy. The scent is light and pleasant. And, a little goes a long way. Unlike one hair oil I used to use… it doesn't change the color of your hair. (One salon brand -over time – turned my highlights ORANGE!! Not a good look!)
To use, pump 4 drops into your palm and rub together with your other hand. Then, smooth it on. Personally, I like to go start from my ears, and smooth it on down to the ends. And, then, I pump two more times, focusing on my top layer.
I use it when my hair is towel dried; first thing in the morning; and just before bed. Seriously, this stuff is worth it's weight in GOLD (as the name would imply). It's a little pricey… but worth every drop!
You can ask your favorite salon if they carry it… and if they don't. PLEASE don't let them talk you into another product…. simply thank them for their time, and order
HERE.
XO,
Ryan
