SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — Join Sioux Falls Fire Rescue as they pay tribute to those who fell in the line of duty during the September 11th attacks in New York City.
The event which is usually a stair climb is said to look different this year. Community Members, Firefighters, Law Enforcement, and Members of the Military from throughout the region will commit to climb at Great Bear Ski Valley to remember those who lost their lives in the World Trade Center Buildings on 9/11/2001 and the everyday heroes in each of your lives. Proceeds from Step Up for Heroes will be distributed in the community at the direct point of need through the Sioux Falls Firefighters Association Stepping Up Program.
