CANISTOTA, S.D. (KELO.com) — The Canistota School District is lifting restriction on attendance at school events because of the coronavirus.
The district posted the following message on their Facebook page:
Dear Canistota families,
After careful consideration of current and potential attendance-limiting protocols at winter sports activities, Canistota School is removing attendance restrictions at home games. This means that the use of tickets is over at our home events. Other schools that we enter a contest with most likely will still have a policy regarding tickets, and we will pass that along to you as it is relevant.
Mask usage continues to be a heavy recommendation at our district but not a mandate at ballgames. We do ask that the only students who sit in the student section are students at our school.
