SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — It was another full briefing Tuesday by the Sioux Falls Police.
BURGLARS BREAK-IN STEAL KEYS THEN CARS
The authorities are looking for the culprits who broke into a used car lot office and stole cars.
Sioux Falls Police Officer Sam Clemens says they pushed in a glass door. They then stole keys and four cars. Police recovered two of the cars.
The incident occurred near Rice and Cliff early Tuesday morning.
STILL NO REPORT ON DOUBLE FATAL TRAFFIC ACCIDENT
Sioux Falls Police still have not completed their reconstruction and investigation into a double fatality two-car accident last month near the east side Walmart in Sioux Falls.
Officer Sam Clemens said Tuesday that the driver of the car suspected of speeding is still in the hospital.
He says because the investigation is ongoing and that the county does not want to be responsible for his medical bills, he has not been charged yet.
MINNESOTA MURDER SUSPECT STILL IN THE WIND
The Minnesota murder suspect that the Minnehaha County Sheriff’s Office attempted to arrest yesterday is still on the lam.
Authorities tried to apprehend Miguel Angel Nunez, Jr., 18, Monday afternoon in the 100 block of North Lake Avenue.
Police say to not approach Nunez.
They say to be a good witness, note any details, and call 911 if you see him.
MORE UNLOCKED CARS AND CONVERTER THEFTS
Sioux Falls Police again report more thefts from unlocked cars.
They also report more thefts of catalytic converters.
The authorities say no one part of Sioux Falls was targeted in the break-ins and thefts.
DRUNK MAN HAS SHOES AND WALLET STOLEN
An inebriated man had his shoes and wallet stolen in Sioux Falls Monday.
Sioux Falls Police say the victim did not remember a lot of details about the robbery at the time of his interview.
