SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — A driver in Dell Rapids survived a rollover crash where they were ejected from their vehicle, according to the Minnehaha County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities responded to the crash at 12:51 a.m. Monday morning near Centennial Place and South Garfield Avenue. The driver received medical attention on site and was airlifted to the hospital. A release from Sgt. Seth Hodges with the sheriff’s department said the driver is “in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries at this time.”
Hodges added in the release authorities believe alcohol was a factor in the crash.

On 8/30/2021 at 12:51 am, the Minnehaha County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the area of Centennial Pl and S Garfield Ave in Dell Rapids, SD for a single-vehicle injury accident. It was discovered that the vehicle had rolled and the driver had been ejected. Medical care was provided by first responders. The driver was air lifted to the hospital and is in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries at this time. The Minnehaha County Sheriff’s Office Crash Team is investigating the crash. Alcohol is suspected to be a factor. The Minnehaha County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Dell Rapids Fire Department and Dell Rapids Ambulance.
