SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — A Sioux Falls man who attempted to steal a car and pulled a gun on the owner is behind bars.
Sioux Falls Police say the Minnehaha County Sheriff’s Office arrested William Leroy, Fralick, 33, yesterday (Wednesday).
Police say he tried to steal a car from a gas station at 6th and West Avenue by pulling a gun on the owner while the owner was trying to stop him.
Authorities say Fralick hit the victim over the head with the gun.
The victim needed stitches and staples.
The robber did not get away with the vehicle.
Fralick is in jail on a $25,000 cash-only bond for a variety of charges, including grand theft, aggravated assault, and gun charges.
