DELL RAPIDS, S.D. (KELO.com) — A Fire had temporarily taken away the lights in some areas of Southeast South Dakota today.
An electrical substation near the Pizza Ranch in Dell Rapids caught fire this morning..
The fire put many homes and businesses, including the grocery and hardware stores in Dell Rapids in the dark.
The power went out about 8 am and was restored by Xcel energy by 9:30 am.
So far, no injuries have been reported.
The outage also took out power in Baltic.
