WATERTOWN, S.D. (KELO.com) — When it comes to weather variety, South Dakota saw a bit of everything on Wednesday–from heavy snow in the Black Hills to tornado warnings in the extreme northeast corner of the state.
National Weather Service forecaster Ryan Vipond says the Aberdeen office issued several tornado warnings for the northeast around mid-afternoon on Wednesday as a line of storms went severe.
The only immediate reports of storm damage came northeast of Dumont, Minnesota, where there were reports of tree damage and damage to the roof of an outbuilding.
