SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — A grass fire Saturday afternoon north of Chancellor, S.D. has the Chancellor Community Fire Department asking drivers to please yield to emergency vehicles.
The department posted on social media, vehicles weren’t yielding the right-of-way to their fire trucks that were responding with lights and sirens. Chancellor Fire asks drivers to be aware of their surroundings and reminds minutes can make the difference between life and death when responding to medical emergencies.
