PLANKINTON, S.D. (KELO.com) — A member of the Aurora County, South Dakota, Sheriff’s Office is no longer employed.In a release, Sheriff Roman Briggs said the office was notified of an investigation conducted by the South Dakota DCI and Deputy David Suarez’s employment was terminated.
Briggs said in his statement, “our officers will strive to maintain the public trust of the communities we serve”.He added, “the Aurora County Sheriff’s Office will continue to uphold the constitution and laws of the State of South Dakota with integrity and professionalism”.
