SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — The South Dakota Department of Transportation has announced that Interstate 90 between Sioux Falls and Mitchell has been reopened to eastbound traffic only.
The interstate remains closed to westbound traffic at this time.
SDDOT anticipates reopening the westbound lanes by mid-day today.
Even with the reopening of I-90, there is still a No Travel Advisory in effect for that particular stretch of road.
No Travel Advisories continue to impact state highways in the central and southeastern areas of South Dakota with the greatest snowfall totals from this storm system.
If you must travel over the next few days, you’re encouraged to monitor road conditions on sd511.org.
