SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — A former Sioux Falls resident is looking to make an impact on his new community.
Chris Herr grew up in Sioux Falls and graduated from Lincoln High School in 2007.
Now, the husband and father of one is running for a seat on the City Council in Denver, Colorado.
An active member of the community, Herr is apart of the Colorado Energy Office’s Electric Vehicle Coalition, the Downtown Denver Partnership Mobility Council, as well as the Board of Directors for Wealth in Community Knowledge.
He says his goal as a City Councilmember will be to implement policies and create opportunities that enhance affordable living and economic prosperity while building a sustainable future.

The city’s election will be held on April 4th.
