It’s been a minute (not literally) since I’ve made a blog post talking about the movies I watched. I’ve seen so many movies, so let’s update you with one that I thought was really good. I saw a movie called Mickey 17. It’s in theaters now, and it’s such a solid sci-fi movie. It stars Robert Pattinson (multiply that by 18) as a guy on earth who’s at the end of his rope, and signs up to be an “expendable” for scientific research on a planet away from earth, pushing humanity forward. The technology in the movie means that when he dies, he can come back, with all his current memories, and resumes where he was in the research. It’s really cool. The trailer makes it look like a Groundhogs Day kind of movie, and it’s totally not. Definitely check out this movie. It’s extremely well done, the topics at hand are really well thought out, and overall I’d recommend it if you like movies like Alien, Terminator, or Edge of Tomorrow. I have a feeling that this movie will gain a “cult following” after it’s released on home media and streaming.
I give this movie 3 and a half stars out of 5
