SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — Two dozen inmates and a prison visitor are facing charges tied to inmate overdose deaths and a prison riot. Attorney General Marty Jackley announced indictments Tuesday, saying at least nine gangs were involved in the riot in late May. Two of the indictments stemmed from inmate overdose deaths. The Attorney General says two more overdose deaths are still being investigated, so more charges are possible.
