PIERRE, S.D. (KELO.com) — The South Dakota Department of Health reports today (Tuesday) that active coronavirus cases and hospitalizations are down.
They also report no new deaths.
The state’s death toll remains at 1,981.
The department reports 126 new cases.
Active cases are down by 111 to 1,100.
Hospitalizations are down 15 to 81.
Total recovered cases are over 120,000.
The latest seven-day new person test positivity rate is five percent.
Fifty-six percent of eligible South Dakotans have gotten at least one covid-19 shot and 49% have received both shots.
