GPS CATCHES GENERATOR THIEF
A Sioux Falls man faces criminal charges for stealing a generator and an ATV.
Sioux Falls Police say Larry Dean Durst, 56, stole a generator from a construction site in the 4300 block of North Northview Ave. Sunday night.
Only he didn’t know the generator had GPS tracking on it.
The owner tracked it and Durst to the 3600 block of North Tenth Avenue Monday.
There police arrested Durst.
The authorities also believe Durst stole an ATV.
RETURN OF THE CONVERTER SNATCHERS
Sioux Falls Police report that catalytic converter thefts are back.
They say there have been six vehicles hit in the past few days in various parts of the city.
ATM HIT AT THE RAMKOTA EXHIBIT HALL
Authorities are looking into the break-in of an ATM in the Ramkota Exhibit Hall in Sioux Falls.
The Sioux Falls Police said the burglary took place Saturday.
They did not reveal how much money was stolen.
