SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) — South Dakota teens are the most distracted young drivers in the nation.
That’s according to a new study by CoPilot.
The analysis found that 57.0% of South Dakota teens used their phones while driving.
That’s the worst among 46 states surveyed.
Texting while driving is defined by the CDC as having texted or e-mailed while driving a car in the past 30 days. Here is a summary of the data for South Dakota:
