POLICE SEARCHING FOR SUBJECT IN EARLY MORNING ROBBERY
Sioux Falls Police are looking for a suspect in an early morning robbery.
Shortly after 1 am this morning, the suspect entered a business in the 1900 block of west 12th st.
The suspect approached the clerk with a gun and demanded money.
The clerk refused, and the perp ran off.
He was described as a male that was wearing blue jeans with a white sweatshirt, a blue ski mask with a giant eye hole, and had either blue or green eyes.
Police say they will make the surveillance video available as soon as they can.
MAN ARRESTED ON DWI CHARGES AFTER CRASHING INTO ANOTHER VEHICLE IN CENTRAL SIOUX FALLS
A Florence, South Dakota, man is in custody after a crash in central Sioux Falls sent a victim to the hospital.
Shortly after 8:30 pm Thursday night, officers were called to 6th and Prarie for a report of an accident.
Upon their arrival, they discovered one of the drivers to be under the influence and placed him into custody.
The victim had to be extracted from her vehicle.
38-year-old Dustin Andrews was arrested for DWI, reckless driving, and felony vehicular battery based on the victims injuries.
Both the suspect and the victim were taken to Sioux Falls hospitals.
