SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO.com) –The Sioux Falls School district has announced the times for graduation ceremonies taking place this weekend.
All four high school graduations will take place this Sunday, with nearly 1,600 high school seniors walking across the stage.

Nearly 1,600 students who have attained senior status by the start of the Spring 2022 semester will walk across the stage on Sunday, May 29 to be recognized for their academic and personal accomplishments. Graduating seniors must have earned the required 22 credits to receive a high school diploma.
Sunday’s graduation ceremonies are scheduled at the Sioux Falls Arena as follows:
School Time Students Achieving Senior Status Roosevelt High School 11 a.m. 505
Washington High School 1:45 p.m. 417
Lincoln High School 4:30 p.m. 502
Jefferson High School 7:15 p.m. 163
Students who attend alternative programs at Axtell Park and earn 22 credits receive their diplomas from one of the four traditional high schools and may attend that ceremony.
Class of 2022 Highlights:
500 students are recognized as Regents Scholars by the South Dakota Department of Education 235 students are members of the National Honor Society
180 students are recognized as Advanced Placement (AP) Scholars by the College Board 17 students are National Merit Finalists
472 students are Presidential Education Award Winners
313 students have earned the Advanced Placement Achievement Award
The Sioux Falls School District is planning to live stream each graduation ceremony on Sunday for any friends and family members who are unable to attend. Live streams for all graduation ceremonies can be found on the District’s YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/SiouxFallsSchools

Each ceremony will be shown in its entirety on KLRN-TV, Your Sioux Falls Classroom Connection (Midcontinent Channels 20 & 595) during the coming weeks.
NOTICE: Members of the media are welcome at these ceremonies. There will be a place near the soundboard, close to the stage for you to leave tripods and other gear if necessary. You do not need to check in with District personnel at these ceremonies, but we do ask that you keep the aisles clear for graduates, staff, and family members, that you do not access
the ramps or stage at any time, and that you stay out of the way of any District live-streaming devices and cameras. Arena staff and law enforcement authorities may limit your access to other areas of the facility as well. Thank you.
