WORTHING, S.D. (KELO.com) — Mechanical failure appears to be the blame for a motorcycle accident in Lincoln County last night. The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office said it seemed mechanical failure caused the operator to lose control and get thrown from the motorcycle. The driver sustained serious injuries but non-life-threatening. The accident occurred about two miles north of Worthing. The sheriff’s office says helmet use prevented more serious injuries.
