PIERRE, S.D. (KELO.com) — Home schooling is increasing across the country…and South Dakota is no exception.
A lower number of students in public schools means less money from the state.
Pierre School District Superintendent Dr. Kelly Glodt says that may lead to some challenging discussions.
Glodt would like to see more checks-and-balances for home schooled students to be sure they are properly educated.
