Warner, SD (KELO.com) — An unusual fire near Warner in the northern part of the state kept Brown County firefighters busy for a dozen hours this week. Officials believe it was caused by a pile of beet pulp that heated up as it spoiled on a dairy farm. Firefighters and farm workers moved burning materials to an open field to allow it to burn off. No one was injured.
